Hex5 Digital was founded in 2022. The experience behind it goes back nearly two decades. Before starting Hex5, Wes Lewis spent 18 years delivering digital work at some of the most demanding agencies in the federal government — programs where compliance, public accountability, and stakeholder complexity aren't hypothetical. That experience is the foundation the firm is built on.
Our work covers UX design, accessibility compliance, and agile delivery. As a firm, we're early in building our own project portfolio — but we're not learning on the job. The knowledge and practices we bring to clients were built inside the agencies we now help. Our engagements have spanned federal civilian agencies, public safety organizations, and local government — each with their own stakeholder dynamics and accountability standards.
We stay small on purpose. Every engagement gets senior-level attention, not a handoff to a junior team. That's a deliberate choice — and one that shows up in the quality of the work.
